An English teacher in France called for her students to hold a minute of silence for the terrorist Mohammad Merah, calling him a "victim of an unhappy childhood".

Much to my surprise and admiration, instead of observing the minute of silence, most of the students filed out of the classroom in disgust and outrage. Well done, froggies!
