Sic transit...
I loaned a friend my copy of "Reading Lolita in Tehran". When returning it, she related the following shocking amusing story.
My friend was reading the book during a break at work. Another colleague approached her: "What is Lolita?". Surprised, my friend proceeded to explain that it was a title of a rather famous book by Nabokov. The colleague nodded, absorbed, and asked, "And what is Tehran?".
Both my friend and her colleague are violinists in our world-famous symphony orchestra.
